feudal bureaucracy that serves only big business and the traditional warlords whose stranglehold on is choking the very future these people are desperately holding on to. Disillusioned that the dream of Lebanon that fortified them throughout nearly 17 years of Civil War, is disintegrating before their eyes. Those who can are abandoning the country and migrating to other countries while those who can’t seem destined to continue to playout a Groundhog Day existence of perpetual suffering. The quandary that confounds this story is why the Lebanese don’t exercise their democratic right to change that which is causing their suffering and enabling an archaic system that serves only the old guard.
With a thirst for answers and meaning to the inequality that pervades daily life in Lebanon, Daizy undertakes interviews with people from all walks of life to determine if the resilience of the people, who have overcome wars, countless invaders, occupations forces, atrocities and devastation, can sustain any more...but more significantly, if their DREAMs for a better Lebanon can lift them to overcome their greatest challenge yet.
